Jannik Stegen is a young artist and illustrator from Heidelberg, Germany. Relatively new to the illustration scene he has already won two prizes for his art: the young ones portfolio and the 3x3 award merit.

He uses bright and hyper realistic colours in his illustrations and the often jolly and colourful animals give out positive vibes. Jannik gets his inspiration mainly from nature and animals surrounding him. Because of the proximity to the river Neckar, water birds are very present in his illustrations.
